Some common symptoms of STIs include unusual odor, discharge from the vagina or penis, burning during urination and sores on the genitals. However, many STIs do not cause any symptoms, and it is possible to spread these diseases and infections without ever having symptoms.
Treatment will be offered. A lab fee may be associated with testing.

When should you get tested?
• If you have had unprotected sex, this includes oral or anal sex.
• If you have had a change in partners
• If you have experiences itching/ burning in your pelvic areas
• If you are pregnant
• If you have scheduled an abortion
You may need to get tested even if you have no symptoms or consistently use a condom.
